What is caldo primordial?

caldo primordial is Spanish for primordial soup^[1] — the theory of how life on Earth began. caldo primordial argues that the conditions for new life can be created with music.

For that life to begin you need yourself, at least one other person, and a connection to music that can spark something and lift your mood. For a new primordial soup to happen, it has to be served through speakers that do not distort, so that the ingredients of the soup — the people in it — hear the music just as the artist intended, or just as the organisers would like it presented.

For that reason the speakers are built for radical fidelity: 3D printing for certain parts, and computer simulation that pushes the design so that listeners get the highest fidelity possible.

Not only the speakers: the amplifier too is custom made to match that need for quality, with incredibly low THD^[2] (total harmonic distortion), which must stay below 0.003%.
